About our family

We are the Choeuy family from the small rural village of Brobmai about 50 km west of Siem Reap. We are subsistence farmers in the village. Our family has been farmers for many generations. A few of us from the younger generation have moved temporarily to Siem Reap in search of better opportunities. Socheat has bought a Tuk Tuk and Vichea has had the lucky chance to go to university by sponsorship and is studying business. Our village is poor and we hope to earn enough money to help our village to buy solar power systems, sanitation, education and improvements to our agricultural practices so that there is always enough to eat.
